Why Us

Our passion is to put communities in the driver’s seat of development, we strive to utilize innovative and participatory approaches, so that communities can analyze the issues affecting them and design home grown solutions. We believe that livelihood outcomes are influenced by the strategies that communities adopt. These strategies are influenced by the capital assets that households have; the policies; existing institutions and cultural practices in the system as well as external conditions that households and communities are vulnerable to. The analysis of this interaction enables communities to make informed decisions and consider sustainability issues in the design of their own development. Linked to this is the support through research and policy analysis to link the micro- to the macro- level in order to provide an enabling macro-economic environment for poor people.

Euro Africa Consult Ltd. is able to facilitate the above by having a wide knowledge base, skills and experience obtained through the extensive network of its consultants across the regions and beyond. We endeavor to provide quality and timely services by organizing our consultants into small work groups for each assignment. For example, each assignment is given to two or three consultants who will have different responsibilities in the completion of the assignment. This includes a very experienced report editor to ensure that the report is well laid out, easy to read and is of appropriate length. The team often comprises of a lead consultant, support consultant and report editor. In this manner, we provide quality assurance of our final outputs and products.
